Welcome to Leaflin Art
I am a Canadian/American artist living in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, near Shenandoah National Park. I graduated from Radford University where I studied Art and Geology.
Art, the natural world and a deep respect for its creatures have always been present in my life. My art encompasses a variety of mediums and techniques which allows me to combine my fields of interest in many different ways.
In December 2018 I became a Certified Virginia Master Naturalist with the Old Rag Master Naturalist Chapter. This wonderful experience has piqued my interest in ornithology which I intend to pursue in my art, studies, and stewardship.
When not in my studio or observing birds in my backyard I enjoy exploring the natural world with my husband (who is also a Master Naturalist). In 2018 we completed the build of a camper we designed and built from a Ford Transit Van. Our goal is to visit and camp in the beautiful National Parks across the USA and Canada.

In 1998 I began Leaflin Art. The name “Leaflin” is a combination of the words ‘Leaf’ which represents my love of nature and ‘Lin’ the first three letters of my given name.
Thank you for visiting my site.
